NTNU HHS Case Club participated in the Nordic Case Challenge 2024.
In advance, they were tasked with developing a solution for how the forestry industry in Vietnam could adopt Nordic solutions for a more sustainable value chain. Their presentation of this solution earned them 2nd place in their group.
They were then challenged on how Finnish company Unikie could leverage its expertise in embedded software systems to integrate artificial intelligence, thereby creating value for new and existing customers.
The team’s solution for this 15-hour case was to implement artificial intelligence in autonomous drones for monitoring, analyzing, and spraying pesticides on large American farms. This solution took the team all the way to the final, earning them 2nd place at NCC24, the highest of all the Norwegian teams! But that's not all! Our rising star Adam Wibe won the award for best presenter for his outstanding performance during the final.
